• Images are now available on Products. The ability to add a photo to a products has been added. A photo can be added by clicking the 'Upload Image' box within the Details tab of a product.

All Sports 

• A filter has been added to easily hide rounds for Associations with a lot of competitions.A filter has been added to the Hide Rounds page to enable users with a large number of Competitions to more easily filter these Competitions.

Introducing the AFL National Registration System

The AFL's National Registration System (NRS), custom built for the sport by FOX SPORTS PULSE, will soon be accepting registrations across the country for the 2015 winter season.

• A new notification that only display if there isn't already a similar notification. This notification will tell the organisation if they should run a report as there was injuries or incidents added to the match summary.

New Selected Teams layout and player profile integration

**This feature is available for AFL / Football / Basketball  / Rugby League users with the Competitions module.**

When you next log in to Selected Teams and Match Centre you may notice a few changes.

We have improved the Selected Teams layout so they are now full screen width and include links to player profiles. This means player names (or jersey for football) are clickable, bringing up a pop-up of the players profile with an option to click through to see more details.

Get your players assigned to matches

Selecting teams each week can be a handful at times but our Online Results system gives you the ability for your team selections to be easily displayed on your website and an easy way to track your members path through your competitions.

With the 2014 winter season well and truly underway, now can be a good time to pause to refresh your administrator skills. Below is a summary of the common queries coming through to FOX SPORTS PULSE Support Desk this month (and their relevant solutions). 

Setting up your Team Manager logins

Keeping control of your Team Manager logins is now easy with SP Passport. No longer do you need to hand out tricky passwords that people can’t easily remember and end up calling you about anyway.

Late registrations can still be paid online

Still chasing up fees? Late paying members don't have to pay their fees in cash - get them to use the online gateway! 

The same registration form can still be used for members paying after the official cut off date. If there is an overdue fee penalty (and therefore the original membership fee has gone up in price), simply create a new product with the new price and activate it on your form.

Live Score - Get into the game!

PLEASE NOTE: The web address for accessing Live Score has changed from m.sportingpulse.com to results.foxsportspulse.com. Any users going through m.sportingpulse.com will see get a temporary page that will give them the option to link to results entry. For more information about how to set up Live Score, please view our support documentation.

For those associations or leagues looking to get the most out of their FOX SPORTS PULSE database this season, Live Score is the perfect way to add value for your members and efficiencies for your volunteers and administrators.

Changes to Password Management Screen

FOX SPORTS PULSE would like to advise you of a recent change to all sports databases. 

In order to address some password security considerations, we have removed the ability for individual member and team passwords to be accessible by administrators through the Password Management screen.

Communicator Updates

Over the 2014 winter season, you will notice some changes to the Communications section of Membership. With these enhancements we aim to improve the user experience and make our product more accessible, easier to use and provide the ability to report on sent messages.

These updates will be implemented over the course of the season. The first two major enhancements will soon be live. Read on to learn what will be changing with this initial release.

Effectively promoting your sponsors

Sponsors represent a crucial part of any sporting club or association and keeping them onside and retaining them is equally as important. Below we've listed some easy steps you can take to promote your sponsors image to make sure they're happy and to make sure the message gets through to your members.

No more linking to a database from Passport

Next time you login to Passport you will notice that we have removed the ability to link directly to a club/league database with a username/password. We've made this change to remove the old outdated method of needing a confusing username and password for each database, instead continuing on the path of all database access being given by existing users as explained below.

If you require access to a club database or you are a team manager and need to enter results, then you need to contact an existing club or league administrator and ask them to authorise you. This can be done via the User Management screen (see below). To do this, the Administrator will need your Passport login email address, if you don't already have a Passport account you can set one up here.

Handy tips for using Schedula

Our new premium Officials Management system, Schedula, is well and truly up and running for the upcoming winter season. Below are a few quick tips and pointers on how to use the Schedula system and how to complete some common processes.

Add competition Stats to your Widget Manager

**Please note at this stage this feature is only available in AFL, Basketball, Rugby League, Football (Soccer), Touch Football and Water Polo websites.**

 Competition stats and ladders have always been an extremely popular part of the FOX SPORTS PULSE offering. We're pleased to announce that for the coming season, a competition stats widget will be available for your own organisation's website. This new widget will show the top five in a stats category for your chosen competition and will appear in your website's right hand column, along with the rest of the widgets we provide.

The Communicator tool in your Membership database is a powerful tool. Not only can you email and SMS your members quickly and easily, you can also target any group of members in your database, in this case unpaid members and non-returning players, and customise a specific message to them using the Saved Report functionality.

Duplicate Resolution - Overview

What is 'duplicate resolution' and why is it important?

Our Membership Management system identifies any possible duplicate members caused by the double-entry of an individual's membership record. For example, if an administrator creates a new member record for a player that has just joined their association/ club, but that player has previously played within a different association/ club, Membership will identify this and allow the administrator to 'merge' the player's new record with all of their historical data.
