Support Desk FAQs – April 2014

With the 2014 winter season well and truly underway, now can be a good time to pause to refresh your administrator skills. Below is a summary of the common queries coming through to FOX SPORTS PULSE Support Desk this month (and their relevant solutions).

Controlling Team Manager Database Access

Team Managers will need at least restricted database access to be able to perform their weekly tasks (typically team selection, team sheets and results entry).

As was the case last year, clubs can assign TMs (with a Passport account) database access through User Management. We also happen to have just written a blog post on this subject.

(Please note, TMs can no longer link to their team from their Passport via the teamcode/password)

Can't find a player for your Team Sheet?

If you're having trouble finding a particular player for Team Sheet we've put together a short list of things to check.

How to de-register a player from your club

Got an old player appearing in your list of current season players and need to remove them? These steps should help.

Accessing LiveScore

In case you haven't read our recent blog posts, LiveScore is now accessible via results.foxsportspulse.com.  TMs must have at least 'restricted access' (see 'Controlling Team Manager Database Access' above), and logged into their Passport account on their smart phone/tablet device. More detailed instructions are available here.

Also, here’s a reminder on how to use LiveScore in case you need a refresher!

Financial reporting

Time to balance the books? Here are some instructions on how to run financial reports. Did you know you can create a report to show which of your players have registered but not paid?

Publish to Web

Fixtures created? Don’t forget to send them to your website via a Publish to Web.

Accessing your Club Website

Have you been tasked with managing your club’s old website and not sure where to start? Consider switching to a FSP Standard Site. Chances are you already have one setup and just need to figure out how to get access to it.

Before you start you will first need a Passport account. Once you do, feel free to get in touch with us and we will help you gain access to your club’s FSP Standard site. Once you have access, here are some handy tips to help you get started.
